Stay in this enchanting pink castle with turrets and a little stone bridge
If you've always dreamt of living in a pink castle then we may have found the perfect property for you.
Sadly, it's not a castle for sale, but you can rent it out for a quirky yet luxurious rural getaway.
This tickled pink property is located in a peaceful and private location in the beautiful Ayrshire countryside in Scotland, surrounded by magical gardens and spectacular sea views out to the Isles of Arran and Bute, making it an ideal retreat for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city.
Quite literally named, The Pink Castle, it features spiralling turrets with some unique features; one includes a circular seating area with porthole windows, and the other, a small sauna.

Upon arrival, the first thing you'll see is a pastel pink modern extension attached to an original 14th century castle, and a little stone bridge which leads you to the sprawling gardens and woods; just like something out of a fairy tale.
Inside, original features of this period property combine with quirky, modern interiors.
But perhaps the highlight of this restored pink castle is the beautiful winding staircases with sculpted iron handles, and the uniquely-shaped bedrooms which add to the charm of it all.
The kitchen/diner with an island and floor-to-ceiling windows is finished with wood beams and rustic interiors, the two sitting rooms come with wood burners, and if you gaze up at one of the ceilings you'll find some captivating handpainted designs.
There are also three bathrooms and four spacious bedrooms, all in keeping with the rustic character, and much of the decor includes built-in wooden furniture.
Perfect for a staycation, The Pink Castle is available to book throughout the year for up to eight people. Book now via holidaycottages.co.uk.
