Stacey Solomon is known for sharing her organisation tips in the BBC show, Sort Your Life Out, but fans of the TV star will be pleased to hear she'll be sharing more home transformation advice in a brand new series Stacey Solomon's Renovation Rescue – and it's going to be on our screens very soon.

Stacey Solomon will present a new home makeover show, Stacey Solomon's Renovation Rescue, with the series starting on Channel 4 tonight, 10 April, at 9pm.

The series will see Stacey step in to help families who have been left high and dry by builders partway through renovating their homes.

Stacey helps each family come up with a master plan to finish the DIY jobs off themselves. From brick laying to basic plumbing, Stacey will share how to transform a living space on a budget with money-saving skills and techniques.

Viewers can also expect to see the presenter attempt to master new DIY projects, with guidance on handy makeover tips and tricks to try at home.

In each episode, Stacey will also visit aspirational properties for ideas to inspire the homeowners she's helping.

The first episode will see Stacey meet Erick and Caroline in Enfield, who began an extension on their 1980s bungalow. They've lost tens of thousands of pounds on building work that needs to be redone, but Stacey is on hand to get the project back on track – including teaching them how to create a stunning oak panel room divider.

Speaking about her new TV venture, Stacey said, "Renovation Rescue is all about building people’s confidence in DIY – we meet loads of people who’ve had bad experiences with builders, or they feel like their budget isn’t going to stretch to what they want.

"We don’t just want to come in and ‘fix’. We want to teach people the skills they need and prove that even on a tight budget you can achieve your dream house."

Renovation Rescue is produced by Hello Sunshine, the production company founded by Reese Witherspoon. It will be Hello Sunshine's first UK-based series and it sounds like Stacey is thrilled to be a part of it.

She said: "I am beyond excited to work with Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine on their first ever UK project," she added. "They are all about empowering women, and what could be more empowering than a power tool?! It’s a dream come true to share my DIY hacks with everyone at home."

Stacey Solomon's Renovation Rescue starts on Wednesday 10 April at 9pm on Channel 4.
