Stacey Solomon is back with her crafty Christmas TV show
Stacey Solomon will be inspiring viewers this Christmas with clever ways to cut costs and upcycle this Christmas with the second series of her craft show Stacey Solomon’s Crafty Christmas.
The hour-long BBC special will see Stacey team up with her Sort Your Life Out co-star Dilly Carter to transform a neighbouring barn into a Christmas grotto to host a festive party for volunteers in the local area, to thank them for their hard work throughout the year.
And the release date of the show has now been revealed – Stacey Solomon's Crafty Christmas will air at 8pm on Thursday 14 December on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Stacey has called in reinforcements to make sure the party is a success, including her sons, her sister, husband Joe Swash, the local Women's Institute, and even a special appearance from Stacey's nonagenarian grandmother.
She'll be inspiring us with brilliant craft projects which won't break the bank – including creating beautiful Nutcracker figures and a stunning Christmas pudding wreath. She'll also be showing us how to make beautiful festive lanterns, personalised presents and foraged decorations – and will be surprising husband Joe with a special homemade Christmas gift.
Followers of her Instagram account regularly get to see Stacey's creative Christmas craft projects. She's recently decorated her home with gorgeous homemade pieces, including personalised Christmas crackers for the table and a stunning Christmas door display, featuring homemade giant nutcrackers and Christmas bells.
Stacey has previously explained why craft is such a favourite hobby. “Crafting is something I can really lose myself in,” she said.
“Life for many people is really fast and busy, and when I craft my mind has to focus on the task at hand. You can have all these thoughts running around in your head but you have to push them to one side to focus on the thing in front of you. It’s so relaxing.”
We don't know the exact release date for this year's Crafty Christmas episode, but we're anticipating it will be in the days leading up to Christmas in December. We'll keep you posted when we have the date!
