Stacey Solomon admits she and Joe Swash don't share bed as she lifts lid on sleeping arrangements
Every celebrity who appears on Celebrity Gogglebox reveals something about their personal lives while being filmed watching current TV shows, and on Friday 28 June, it was Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash’s turn to lift the lid on their home life.
Watching a movie scene in which a couple were in bed together talking, Joe turned to his wife and said: “We used to have pillow talk, didn’t we?” To which Stacey replied: “We used to sleep in bed together, do you remember that?”
“Before we had three kids in four years,” she laughed.
“I’ll go in Rex’s bed with the baby, alright,” Joe said, impersonating Stacey, while she added: “That’s what happens, innit, babe.”
As the pair watched shows including a 1992 Top of the Pops compilation, Beat The Chasers and A Quiet Place, Joe held one of the family dogs while Stacey had a pet duck on her lap.
Stacey and Joe first crossed paths on the set of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! In 2010, when Stacey won the series and was crowned queen of the jungle. The couple got engaged in 2020 and have been married since 2022. They have three children together – five year old Rex, two year old Rose and one year old Belle. Stacey also has two older children from previous relationships – 16 year old Zachary and 12 year old Leighton, while Joe has a 17 year old son.
Stacey recently posted photos on social media of her eldest son, Zach, getting ready to attend his prom. She captioned the pictures by writing: "My baby just went to prom. [Crying emoji] I don't think I've ever felt this way. My Zachary, has finished his GCSEs, left school, started his first job and is off to his prom."
She continued to gush about her pride for Zachary: "Zach you are the best thing that ever happened to me. We've grown up together. I just cannot believe how that time has flown by. Go and have the best night ever. You deserve it my darling. I'll be on stand by for the after party pick up. To the moon and back Zachary."
Stacey and Joe have recently spoken about the secrets behind filming Celebrity Gogglebox, with Stacey revealing in an Instagram story that some scenes were filmed during the day at her home, Pickle Cottage, but with the windows blacked out so it looks like night time. Her video showed black coverings taped over the French doors in her house to darken the room.
