If you, like us, can't get Tell Me Lies out of your head, then may we present you with a very minor but undeniably noticeable editing faux pas that may well have you thinking of the hit series in a totally new light.

For the uninitiated, Tell Me Lies tells the story of the toxic relationship between two college students, Lucy (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen (Jackson White). The pair first meet during the first weeks of Lucy's freshman year at the fictional Baird College, with the couple whose relationship eventually becomes a years-long on-again, off-again romance, with each of them cheating on other partners at various points along the way. The series comes with a ready-made fanbase too, having been based on Carola Lovering's bestselling novel of the same name.
