Ashley Graham

Plus size model Ashley Graham has long been an ambassador for the Bo-Po movement, so she’s certainly not going to let a little cellulite shaming bust her body confidence. Taking to her Instagram to share some unretouched images of her looking totally amazing on a recent photoshoot, she spread a little love yourself love to her followers. “Someone once told me my thighs were ‘cellulite city,’” she wrote in the accompanying caption. “But I now realize these thighs tell a story of victory and courage. I will not let others dictate what they think my body should look like for their own comfort, and neither should you,” she said, tagging #beautybeyondsize and #effyourbeautystandards. Shut Down: These Celebrity Responses To Body-Shaming Are All Kinds of Amazing

Though diversity totally makes the world go round, sadly there are people out there who enjoy nothing more than tearing people down for the way they look. And nowhere is the body shaming more prolific than in celebsville. Just this week Lady Kitty Spencer (Princess Diana’s niece) was the victim of trolling about her weight after she shared a snap of her in a bikini on holiday. “Lay off the cake darling. You’re too fat,” the shamer wrote. Thankfully she was up to the task of putting the troll back in their place, with her sweet, yet scathing response. “I’m sorry that you feel the need to post nasty comments under photographs of people you don’t know,” she wrote. “I’ve yet to see unkind behaviour do any good in the world.” Go girl! And she’s not the only celebrity who’s had a pretty darned badass response to the haters…
