Parents are calling a Belgian sex education website too explicit.

Alles over seks (which translates to ‘Everything about sex’) is being recommended to children as young as seven.

Extremely explicit drawings and descriptions of sex positions are featured on the site which was launched by a sexual health centre in Flanders, Belgium.

It demonstrates oral sex techniques including the ‘twist and shout’, the ‘V-finger technique’ and the ‘deep cave’, explaining each in great detail.

The site was originally meant for 15-year-olds but has been distributed to multiple primary schools as part of an advice guide.

One father, Frederic Laire, told the Daily Mail he was shocked when he witnessed how sexually explicit the site was.

He said he would even go so far as to “call it perversity. It is great that such a website exists, but I don’t think that children will ask questions like how many sex positions there are and if they need drugs for sexual pleasures.”

A spokeswoman for Catholic Education in Belgium has also criticised the site’s content. “It is up to parents to talk about [sex] with their children,” said Marijke van Bogaert. “We should give 11 and 12-year-olds information about sexuality which is tailor-made for their age group.”

However, the Flemish Minister for Culture and Youth, Sven Gatz, has defended the move, saying opposers are showing “a new kind of prudishness.”

“I am a proponent to talk openly about sexuality, without taboos. And that is exactly what this website does with explicit drawings.”

Admittedly, the site does contain some useful information on topics like waxing, periods and contraception.

It’s also opening children’s eyes to the variety of sexual things out there with pages on gay relationships and gender fluidity.
