What to see at London Design Week 2024Design Centre Chelsea Harbour

The destination for anyone with a love of fabric, a passion for wallpaper or an affection for furniture, Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour is brimming with inspiration. Packed with 130 showrooms and with more opening all the time (be sure to stop by new arrivals like The Rug Company and Casamance), its annual London Design Week offers an opportunity to discover what’s now and next for the home.

Over four days, there will be more than 100 events to spark your creativity – whether you want to book a place at one of the Conversation in Design talks (such as our Editor-in-Chief’s discussion with couturier-turned-fabric designer Giles Deacon – click the link on this page to book now!) or simply stop by any of the free hands-on demonstrations or meet-the-designer sessions across the venue.

To offer visitors even more insight into the brands of the moment, ‘House Guests’ will once again be invited to take up temporary residence in the bustling Design Avenue. There’s plenty to explore, including the incredible metalwork of Buccellati or Eva Sonaike’s African-inspired fabrics, and, for a moment of calm, step into the pared-back world of Rose Uniacke.

If you need more guidance on your journey through the season’s newest looks, there are daily design-discovery tours, where the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour’s interiors experts will walk you through the most talked-about pieces on show. dcch.co.uk
