Scots nurse creates square sausage roll and told 'get it on Greggs menu now'
A Scottish woman has shared a 'genius' recipe to make a square sausage sausage roll - and it looks amazing.
Emily, who works as a nurse, has been experimenting with the Scottish breakfast favourite and came up with an idea that viewers said she needs to 'instantly patent'.
In a video shared on her TikTok, Emily, whose username is Emlidssss, can be seen wrapping the lorne sausage in puff pastry before topping with mustard and fried onions.

She then brushes them with an egg wash and places the delicacy in the oven at 180 degrees and bakes for 20 minutes. Once ready Emily plates them up and enjoys with a serving of brown sauce.
Ingredients
puff pastry
square sausage
1 Egg
mustard
fried onions
Viewers were quick to gush over the recipe with one saying '10/10 banging. I need to try this now'
Another added: "You better call Greggs and get this on the menu."
Whilst one other person wrote: "That's genius."
Emily originally posted the recipe without onions but after requests she shared an updated version.
One person said: "You're just showing off now."
