Sarah Jessica Parker is dazzling in a sequin dress
Sarah Jessica Parker proved sequins aren't just for festive party season in a dazzling statement dress.
Taking to the red carpet on Sunday, 28 January, the star looked effortlessly elegant in a sequin dress. Always one to look incredible, the 58-year-old actress stunned in her chosen ensemble — a long-sleeve midi dress embellished with golden sequins. The dress is by British designer, Jenny Packham (whose designs are often worn by Catherine, Princess of Wales) and made for a show-stopping look.
For her beauty look, Sarah Jessica opted to wear her signature blonde hair in a loose wave and sported a dramatic smokey eye and coral lip.
Sarah Jessica wore her gorgeous dress to attend the Gala Opening of Plaza Suite at the Savoy Theatre in London's West End. The play sees her star alongside her real life husband, Matthew Broderick, and also marks her West End debut.
A synopsis reads: "A delightfully witty exploration of love and marriage, Plaza Suite had New York City audiences enchanted with its charm and its starry cast. [...] Step into the lives of Karen and Sam, a long-married couple trying to save their relationship-on-the-rocks from an early checkout. Reunite with Muriel and Jesse, former high school sweethearts, destined for an extended, amorous stay. Empathise with long-suffering Norma and Roy, parents of the bride, as they attempt to coax their to-be-wed daughter out of the bathroom."
A host of other celebrities turned up to the Opening Gala for Plaza Suite, including Downton Abbey's Elizabeth McGovern, Sheridan Smith and Hannah Waddingham — the latter choosing to wear a brilliant blue suit.
