Sarah Ferguson has weighed in on the Sussexes departure from the Royal Family, stating she has “no judgement” when it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back as senior members of the Royal Family in January 2020. They then released a tell-all Netflix documentary last year and Harry’s memoir Spare was published in January this year, in which he claimed the Queen Consort Camilla leaked stories about him and Meghan to the press.

“I don't believe that any single person has the right to judge another person. I'm not in a position myself to make any judgments,” Ferguson, 63, who is the former wife of Prince Andrew, told People magazine.

“I have been judged all my life, and I have no judgement on the Sussexes.”

Ferguson added that she thinks Princess Diana, with whom she shared a closed bond, would have been “proud” of her grandchildren.

“I think that Diana would be incredibly proud of her grandchildren. And not just the Sussex grandchildren, but Will's children,” she added.

Harry and Meghan have two children, Archie, three, and Lilibet, one. The Prince and Princess of Wales have three children, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4.

Ferguson is a grandmother herself to Prince Eugenie’s son August, two, and Princess Beatrice’s daughter Sienna, one. Eugenie is also pregnant, with her and her husband Jack Brooksbank expecting their second child this summer.

“[The grandchildren] just follow me around like Peter Pan,” Ferguson said. “I'm ‘Super Gran Pan!’”

The comments come after Harry and Meghan’s representative confirmed to Yahoo UK that the Sussexes were asked to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage.

While Harry and Meghan now reside in LA, Frogmore Cottage still acted as their UK base. Now it’s been reported that King Charles has asked Andrew to leave the Royal Lodge and move into Frogmore Cottage, meaning it will no longer be in use by the Sussexes.

Despite being divorced, Ferguson and Andrew have remained living together in the Royal Lodge, but it is unclear whether Ferguson will move to Frogmore with her ex-husband.
