Sandra Bullock certainly brought the sparkle this week, lighting up the red carpet in a glittering, skintight catsuit for the premiere of her latest film The Unforgivable.

The actor, 57, turned heads in the spangled Stella McCartney pale gold all-in-one, for the Netflix premiere of the film at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles.

With its long sleeves, high neck and floor-skimming flared trousers, the jumpsuit certainly didn't flash the flesh, but the look was undoubtedly glam, teamed with a relaxed-fit black blazer, satin clutch and matching pointed-toe heels.

When it came to her hair and make-up, Bullock wore her signature glossy locks down in a relaxed, just-stepped-off-the-beach style, while ramping up the glam with a statement smokey eye, pink blush and glossy lip.

Though the look was undoubtedly polished, it seems the Miss Congeniality star had a little help in getting ready from her trusty glam-squad and thanks to the power of social media, fans got a chance to have a nosey into what it took to get the Oscar-winning star perfected for the paps.

Sharing an image of the 'Sandy Seven' to Instagram, stylist Elizabeth Stewart, who also dresses Cate Blanchett, unveiled the seven-strong team of make-up artists, stylists and hairdressers who helped get Bullock red carpet ready.

A similar shot was shared by hair stylist Janine Thompson alongside a caption crediting the other members of the style squad responsible for Bullock's look.

"Getting the fabulous Sandy B ready for the Premiere of 'The Unforgivable'," she wrote. "Always such a pleasure! Love working with the so talented @sabrinabmakeup @elizabethstewart1 and @jordan_grossman"

Meanwhile make-up artist Sabrina Bedrani, brand ambassador for Dior, shared a further image working her magic applying the perfect smokey eye on the Hollywood actor.

"That’s me torturing Sandy, making her stare at herself while getting her ready for #TheUnforgivable Premiere," she wrote.

A close up look at the images shared of Bullock's glam squad reveal her team are all wearing T-shirts with images of the star on them.

"Team Sandy B, (in case you haven’t noticed our t.shirts!) or as Elizabeth would say Sandy’s seven," Bedrani captioned her own shot of the image.

While the getting ready process certainly looks like fun, the images offer a hint at the work that goes into getting the A-list glammed up for a red carpet event.

But Bullock certainly isn't the only star who turns to a trusted team of make-up artists, fashion and hair stylists to up the glamour before an important appearance.

Just recently the team behind Meghan Markle's immaculate appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show was also revealed.

Dressed in a white £1,991 Oscar De La Renta blouse and black tailored trousers, the Duchess of Sussex looked groomed and chic during the interview on the talk show.

Though her glamorous appearance wasn't unusual, she had a little help in getting ready from her trusted team of make-up artists and hair stylists.

Her longtime friend and celebrity make-up artist, Daniel Martin, helped perfect her beauty look, while hairstylist Jason Low added the finishing touches to her hair.

"We were backstage the entire time," Martin told People magazine. "It's really fun and Ellen really pulled out Meghan's goofy, funny side, which everyone will be able to finally see."

Markle's sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge, also relies on a trusted team to perfect her red carpet look too, and it seems the choice of stylists can have a huge influence.

The ‘Kate Effect’, referring to the duchess's purchase power, is largely credited to the Duchess of Cambridge’s former PA and personal stylist, Natasha Archer.

Meanwhile while the duchess still heads to Richard Ward's London salon for colour, she entrusts her locks to hairdresser Amanda Cook Tucker, who, along with stylist Archer and personal assistant Sophie Agnew, forms part of Kate’s glam team for royal engagements and overseas tours.

Cook Tucker has been working alongside the duchess since 2012, when she joined the Cambridges for their Diamond Jubilee tour of Southeast Asia.

Since then, she’s styled the royal's hair for many a red carpet appearance, as well as for the world famous snaps taken on the steps of the Lindo Wing following the births of her children.

She has also travelled to India. Bhutan and Canada as part of the royal entourage.

If only us mere mortals had a get-glam team to get us ready for the office Christmas party.
