Sam Faiers celebrates Edward's second birthday with Grinch themed party
Samantha Faiers celebrated her son's second birthday this weekend and, despite it being only May, the bash had a Christmas theme.
Her two-year-old boy Edward is apparently a huge fan of the Grinch, and the former TOWIE star went all out on the festive theme.
The celebrations took place at The Smokery in Albury – a picturesque lakeside venue nestled in the heart of the Surrey hills – and Samantha enlisted the help of some party planners to turn the space into a Grinch-themed winter wonderland complete with a huge balloon display, a pancake station and an elaborate party table.
The reality star documented the day on her Instagram Stories and posted an adorable image of the tot when he arrived and saw what was put in place for his big day.
Sam posted: "OMG why is this so cute. That little smile, Edward absolutely loves the Grinch. I think we could possibly be the only people to do Grinch in May."
And while there were candy canes and Santa hats aplenty, there was no denying it was summer as the sun shone down on all of the kids who enjoyed the festivities, which also included a soft play area, racing cars and even a Grinch-shaped pinata.
There was also an abundance of yummy Grinch-themed treats and cake and there was no chance of anyone going hungry as Samantha and her team provided party guests with a lavish barbecue, all washed down with some wine and TOWIE staple prosecco for the adults.
Edward looked like he had the most magical day and was smiling and giggling throughout as his parents Sam and Paul McKnight made sure he was the centre of attention – they even went so far as attaching little pics of Edward to the pancake hut cutlery.
Sam's sister Billie was also in attendance with her children and posted lots of pics of the little ones, writing: "The most wonderful day celebrating our little darling Edward's 2nd birthday." She also posted the sweetest image of her 17-month-old daughter Margot kissing Edward, tagging Sam and writing "these two" followed by emotional face an heart emojis.
Billie's other two kids Nelly, nine, and six-year-old Arthur also looked like they were having the best day, as were Sam's other children Paul, seven, and five-year-old Rosie.
The Faiers' kids feature regularly on their mum's social media accounts and Billie shares an insight into her and her husband Greg Shepherd's busy life on the ITVBe show Billie & Greg: The Family Diaries, with episodes of the new series currently being aired on Thursdays at 9pm.
