Ruth Langsford shows fans how she achieves her DIY bouncy blow dry
Many of our TV favourites have been doing their own hair and makeup through lockdown, due to social distancing measures. And, while hair and makeup teams may be returning to studios soon, Ruth Langsford has posted a fun time-lapse video showing fans how she does her own bouncy blow dry.
Posting the video on Instagram on Wednesday (22 July) as she got ready to host This Morning while Phil and Holly are on their summer break, Ruth showed followers just how she keeps her bob looking so bouncy and volumised on TV.
The presenter wrote in the caption: "Let’s get this hair & makeup thing on!! @cloudninec9 #heatedrollers #thismorning."

Using heated rollers to achieve her full and flattering look, the star has clearly had a lot of practice as she makes it look so easy. Backcombing each section and winding her hair around the rollers, all while finding time to sip her coffee and apply face cream, Ruth shows off some serious multi-tasking skills in the post.
Many fans and followers wanted to know which rollers she uses in the comments, with Ruth revealing in her caption that her set is from the hair brand Cloud Nine.
Others even joked they'd love Ruth to do their hair and makeup for them after seeing her skills in action, with one fan writing: "Looking great!! You're brilliant at doing hair and makeup. Could you come and do mine please 😄?"
If she ever gets bored of TV, there might just be a job in hairdressing waiting for Ruth...
This Morning weekdays airs on ITV.
