As if any further proof were needed that the Duchess of Cambridge is a high street fashion force to be reckoned with, one of her latest style has been showcased by Ruth Langsford.
The dress - which proved to be a hit after Kate Middleton wore it last month - received much praise with eagle-eyed fans noticing that Langsford wasn’t the only famous face to wear it.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore the bargain outfit during a video appearance where she led an online assembly for the Oak National Academy.
The £39.50 butterfly-sleeve blue dress was reduced to £15 and then sold out quickly on Marks & Spencer, although the retailer has since added some similar styles to the site.
Langsford, who paired the midi-length dress with a white belt, shared her outfit of the day on her Instagram account, as she does with many of her This Morning looks.
She finished off the look with nude, suede court shoes from Topshop.
“Looks lovely, I think the Duchess of Cambridge wore this dress too,” one of Langsford’s followers commented, to which the presenter confirmed she did.

This isn’t the first time the 60-year-old veteran presenter has chosen Marks & Spencer as her clothes store of choice, either. Langsford is regularly seen in floaty, flattering dresses from the high-street retailer.
Marks & Spencer also do a waisted short-sleeve top version of the dress, which is currently sold out as well.
The chiffon a-line skirt version is still available on Marks & Spencer’s website in a limited number of sizes. It has recently been reduced to £14.50 and with the warm weather set to continue, it won’t be around for long.
