The royal baby is finally here!

Yesterday morning, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child – a second son – at St Mary’s Hospital in London.

The prince made his first public appearance just before 6pm cradled by his mother, who looked post-birth amazing in a red Jenny Packham collared dress.

While the world is still waiting to find out what the royal couple have chosen to name their new arrival, there are other nuggets of information we can gleam from the newborn’s astrological chart.

The new Prince was born on April 23, 2018 at 11:01 am in London, a time and date which astrologer and author Sally Kirkman believes is no coincidence.

“At first glance, the new addition to the Royal Family has the right credentials to fit in and join one of the most famous families in the world,” Sally tells Yahoo Style UK.

“Baby number three is a little boy who was born only two days after his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth ll’s actual birthday (21st April), which is a lovely birthday present for her.”

Like the Queen, and his elder sister, Princess Charlotte, the new royal is a Sun Taurus, which according to Sally is a steady earth sign – reliable and nurturing, persistent and stubborn.

The newborn’s timely arrival means that all the Duke and Duchess’ family are all earth and water signs, which Sally says go well together.

“William and Prince George are both Sun Cancer, an emotional and sensitive water sign. (Princess Diana was a Sun Cancer too). Kate is a Sun Capricorn, a traditional and conservative earth sign, and William and Kate now have two more earth sign children, Sun Taurus Charlotte and baby no. 3,” Sally explains.

The new baby was also born with the Moon in Leo, the Royal sign. “This means he’s likely to get on well with his new aunty-to-be, Meghan Markle, as her Sun Leo sits close to his Moon Leo,” Sally says.

“Born a month before her wedding to Prince Harry, this is likely to create a special bond between them.”

Sally says the timing of the baby’s birth suggests he is born to shine bright as the Moon in Leo likes to be in the spotlight.

“As the Moon was next to the karmic north node in Leo on the day of his birth, he’s likely to feel a strong pull of destiny and will need to find his stage to perform on,” she says.

Sally says that basic astrology indicates that the new baby will slot into the conventional family values of his parents William and Kate.

But a deeper look into the astrology reveals that the new royal could also show similar characteristics to that of Harry and Meghan, who bring something new and vibrant to the Royals.

“The new baby continues this modern theme,” Sally says. “This is because Uranus, the unconventional planet, was next to the Sun in Taurus when he was born. Traditionally, Sun Taurus doesn’t like change whereas Uranus IS the planet of change and all things new and innovative.”

Another factor to take into consideration is the fact new baby was born with Chiron at 0 degrees Aries on his Midheaven, the pinnacle of the birth chart and linked to his vocation.

“This gives him the potential of being a maverick, a healer or teacher,” Sally reveals.

Sally concludes that the current astrology for royal baby number three is exciting and unpredictable with the newborn’s birth chart including a progressive and distinctive hallmark.

“On the surface, he’s going to fit in perfectly with his family. His personal destiny, however, may see him treading a more unusual path.”
