Robin Wright keeps looking amazing at Paris Fashion Week
Robin Wright may play a DC ruler on TV, but she’s taking charge in Paris IRL. The actress has made the rounds at Paris Fashion Week, sitting front row at Saint Laurent, Valentino, and Mugler — and she’s looked amazing every single time.
Sticking to a mostly black-and-white palette, the actress has looked especially classic. On Saturday, she balanced a plunging neckline with a loose-fitting black minidress at the Vogue party. With an artfully mussed bob and straight-across bangs, she rocked the grown-up version of the French schoolgirl look. She was photographed arriving with Naomi Campbell — and everyone knows it doesn’t get more high fashion than entering a Paris Fashion Week party arm in arm with Naomi Campbell.
For the Saint Laurent show, Wright wore a structured black dress with a built-in demi-cape. She accessorized with black shoes, a black clutch, and one simple cuff but still managed to add some sparkle to the look with a bejeweled brooch.
At Valentino on Sunday, Wright dressed for the Paris cold in a jacket serving what some are calling “high end coat porn.” Wright paired the statement jacket with simple, sweet heeled Mary Janes. She turned the event into a family affair with son Hopper Penn at her side.
Wright also came out to support Mugler just a few weeks after she wore one of the designer’s creations at the Emmy Awards. The look took a basic silhouette of a cap-sleeve top and pencil skirt and elevated it with a corset cinched at the waist. “A little bondage,” she remarked to Vogue. It’s hard to do classic and sultry while in head-to-toe white, but Wright pulled it off.
Every single one of these black or white (or black-and-white) outfits is turning heads.
