Rihanna invites fans to star in next Savage X Fenty campaign to celebrate two-year anniversary

Rihanna has repeatedly broken boundaries with her Fenty empire - whether that’s creating make-up in more inclusive shades, or championing all body types when showcasing her coveted lingerie.

Now, the singer, 32, is looking for new faces to model her next Savage X Fenty underwear collection to celebrate two years since it launched.

She invited fans in a post on the brand’s Instagram account to put themselves forward for a chance to star in the next campaign this summer.

The post read: “It might be our anniversaRIH, but we’re makin’ YOU the star.

“You ever want to be a part of a Savage X campaign? Meet virtually w/ our dope af creative team? Have us send you an entire photo shoot setup? ⁣

”Well, now’s your chance, sis! We wanna see your most SAVAGE lingeRIH lewks. So how do ya win a chance to be a part of our #SavageXSummer campaign?”

They explained that the winners will be supported by Savage X Fenty’s creative team, who will provide remote direction on the best shooting set-ups in your home - since this will be taking place during the coronavirus lockdown.

The best shots will then be shared on the brand’s website and social media feeds - which feature millions of followers - giving great exposure to budding models.

To be in with a shot, you need to follow the Savage X Fenty account, and share a photo in your lingerie with the hashtags #SavageXSummer and #contest.

You’ll need to do this before Wednesday May 20th, meaning you’ve got just over a week to take part.

The news has delighted fans who left more than 100,000 ‘likes’ on the post.

One person wrote: “Wow, this is awesome! Love you guys.”

Another commented: “Happy anniversaRIH.”

A third shared: “Love this brand.”

It comes as Rihanna showed off a pretty lilac set on her own Instagram account, and unveiled new pieces to celebrate the line’s anniversary.

She wrote: “New Savage for de gal dem! Wanted to give y’all an extra drop cause we turned 2 years old and you guys have been incredible supporters, believed in our brand, appreciated what we stood for, and Of course bought hella @savagexfenty! Thank you from all of us!

Her home-based casting call comes as the #QuarantinePillowChallenge has seen social media users style up their bedding, specifically their pillows, and post the results online.

Many participants turned their sheets into a makeshift “minidress”, kept secure with a belt around the waist.

They have had fun accessorising their DIY looks with quarantine-friendly eye-masks and slippers, as well as designer handbags, heels and sunglasses.

The trend has also provided ample opportunity for people to show off their chic duvet sets, including everything from classic white to fluffy green.
