Rihanna cradles two-year-old son during family shopping trip with ASAP Rocky

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky enjoyed a pre-Christmas late night shopping trip at CVS in West Hollywood earlier this week and showed they're just like many of us hitting the shops ahead of the Christmas week chaos. The We Found Love hitmaker, 36, looked as stylish as ever in a black and white pin stripe suit.

The pop icon looked effortlessly chic for the outing but was keen to keep under the radar as she completed her ensemble with a pair of black sunglasses and a NY baseball cap. The outing was a family affair, with Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's adorable eldest son RZA stealing the spotlight however their youngest child did not join them. RZA looked cute in a grey tracksuit and matching hat while the toddler was pictured happily giggled away as he sat on his dad’s shoulders during their evening out.

Meanwhile A$AP also kept his outfit casual opting for a light grey zip up Stüssy hoody, denim jeans and a red baseball cap. According to Mail Online, the couple were seen stocking up on Christmas essentials as Rihanna pushed a trolley full of wrapping paper and cards.

A$AP Rocky's personal life made headlines when, in a 2021 interview with GQ, he confirmed his relationship with megastar Rihanna. The couple are proud parents to sons RZA Athelston Mayers and Riot Rose Mayers.

In February 2023, during her Super Bowl halftime show performance, the singer revealed she was pregnant with her second child by showing off and cradling her baby bump while on stage. The baby news came nearly nine months after she and rapper A$AP Rocky welcomed their first son.

Speaking ahead of the show, Rihanna said there was “something exhilarating” about the challenge of the performance, and that following the birth of her son she felt like she could “take on the world”.

“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world,” she said at the Apple Music pre-game press conference. "You can do anything, and the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world.

Rihanna and A$AP went public with their romance back in 2020, however it's not known when the pair started dating. In 2013, the rapper performed as an opening act for Rihanna's world tour. She then starred in the music video for his song Fashion Killa – in which they portrayed a couple.

Romance rumours between the pair swirled for years, with the couple appearing together at several events including Paris Fashion Week and the British Fashion Awards.

People magazine later confirmed that the star was in a relationship with her long-time friend. Speaking after RZA's birth, Rihanna told Dazed magazine: "We're best friends with a baby. We have to be on the same page, but we've always kind of had that in our relationship.

"Everything changes when you have a baby but I wouldn't say it's done anything but made us closer."
