Reese Witherspoon's New Photo of Her Son Deacon Has Everyone Talking
It hardly seems possible that Reese Witherspoon has an adult son, but it's true.
Reese's older son, Deacon Phillippe, who she shares with ex-husband Ryan Phillipe, turned 20 on October 23. In honor of the big day, the actress made sure to celebrate by sharing some really sweet snaps of her oldest son."HUGE Birthday wishes to my boy @deaconphillippe!! 🎂 🎈 ☀️ Actually not a boy, he is a 20 yr old man today! 🥰," Reese wrote on Instagram. "Deacon, you are such a ray of sunshine, love and positivity in this world. Keep shining that wonderful light on us all! I 💗 you!," the actress gushed.
Deacon, who is now a sophomore at NYU, is the spitting image of his mother, just like his other two siblings, Ava Phillippe and Tennessee Toth. "@reesewitherpoon not so mini version of you, 100% your double," one fan commented. "He looks even more like you than Ava," said another. "Another mini Reese," someone else echoed in agreement.
Some of Reese's celebrity friends, including Gwyneth Paltrow, offered their well-wishes, too. "Happy Birthday Sweet Deacon!," Gwyneth wrote.
"Love u mama ❤️❤️," Deacon responded to the tribute.
Deacon is already beginning to follow in his famous parents' footsteps, acting in the hit show Never Have I Ever. Though, now it seems Deacon has shifted his focus more to music. Most recently he released a single called "Half the Time" and is making a name for himself in the pop genre.
