They say great minds think alike, but they also dress alike, too. Just look at Reese Witherspoon and Natalie Portman, who both attended the AFI Awards Luncheon in Los Angeles on Friday and seemingly had an unplanned twinning moment on the red carpet.

Both actresses had spring on the brain and wore coordinating floral dresses to the daytime event. Natalie, for her part, opted for a white Dior shirtdress swathed in red, blue, and green botanicals. Her midi featured a matching belt that cinched at the waist, short sleeves, and a pointed collar. She accessorized with black strappy sandals that showed off her dark red pedicure, while a glossy blowout, rosy cheeks, and a berry-stained lip rounded out her look.

Meanwhile, Reese wore a strapless white gown that included a red-and-blue ditsy floral print. Like Natalie's dress, Reese's hit just above her ankles and accentuated her waist, but she styled hers slightly different, adding a pair of black slingback pumps and diamond drop earrings. Her blonde hair was styled straight and slicked away from her face, and she finished off her glam with a soft pink makeup palette.

Reese and Natalie first became friends while working together on the 2019 film Lucy in the Sky. Portman previously gushed about their collaboration during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, telling the outlet that Reese is "such a powerhouse." She added, "She's producing and making work for a lot of us, so I'm very grateful and it was really lucky to get to have a friend to get to call up and be like, 'What do you think about this?'"

Witherspoon also memorably got Portman to join Instagram. “Reese has been a wonderful support system in teaching me the ways of modernity,” Natalie joked at the time. “There’s this thing called social media.”
