When it comes to the drink most associated with the Queen, your first thoughts may go to a lovely cup of English tea.

But did you know Her Royal Majesty is also partial to a specific gin cocktail?

British etiquette expert, William Hanson, revealed the Queen’s favourite cocktail is said to be a gin and Dubonnet. And she is not the only royal to enjoy the tipple…

Hanson shared a video on his Instagram, captioning the post: “How to make the perfect gin and Dubonnet. The drink of choice of Their Majesties The Queen and The Queen Mother”.

In the video guide on how to make the cocktail, the etiquette connoisseur says it’s a “refreshingly fruity drink with a slightly bitter edge”.
