Princess Diana's niece models for Dolce & Gabbana for first Harrods catwalk show
Last night, Princess Diana’s niece Lady Kitty Spencer demonstrated her catwalk skills in Harrods’ debut catwalk show hosted by Dolce & Gabbana.
The Italian extravaganza welcomed customers to the design duo’s Sicilian Christmas market which has set up shop on the department store’s fourth floor.
And to celebrate, the design duo decided to host an impromptu catwalk show with a capsule collection debuted in the building’s prestigious food halls.
The Italian designers played ringmasters in the Christmas extravaganza entitled, ‘The Sun in a London Night’. While everyone from the aristocratic (Lady Tatiana Mounbatten) to the millennial (Rafferty Law and Lottie Moss) played models in the department store’s debut show.
And the catwalk show could not have been more Instagrammable if it tried with this year’s most talked about clothes horses donning everything from heavily-embroidered sheer dresses to equally hefty floral headpieces.
But it was undoubtedly Lady Kitty Spencer who stole the show in a bejewelled fur bolero and co-ordinating gloves which certainly didn’t look out of place inside the walls of Harrods.
While the men of the moment (note: Iris Law’s rumoured boyfriend Burberry model Kelvin Bueno walked the runway), donned head-to-toe leopard and could-be-slippers footwear.
And with a truly millennial line-up, it’s seems D&G is clued up on how to play the market this Christmas.
