Princess Diana's 'wild' sister could be godparent to baby Archie
Princess Diana’s biographer thinks that one of her siblings will be chosen as a godparent to Harry and Meghan’s son Archie.
Andrew Morton tells Yahoo UK’s ‘The Royal Box:’ “Sarah McCorquodale was the reckless one, the wild one, the one who was expelled from school, very much in the kind of Harry mould.
“And then Jane [Fellowes], the elder sister was very much the sensible one and she was the one who read a lesson at the wedding.
“So it will be very interesting which Spencer they ask to be a godparent, will they go wild or will they go steady?”
Lady Sarah McCorquodale, 64, dated Prince Charles for a brief period in the 1970s and is said to be the one who introduced him to younger sister Diana.
And according to The Sun, Lady Jane Fellowes, 62, was one of the first family members to meet baby Archie.
Earl Spencer, 54, is Diana’s younger brother and delivered the eulogy at her funeral in September 1997.

Harry, 34, and elder brother William, 36, remain close to their late mother’s family.
When Buckingham Palace released the statement about the birth of the baby, the Spencers were included in the announcement.
It read: “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news.”
Meghan paid tribute to Diana on her first US Mother’s Day Sunday. She posted a photo on Instagram of her holding baby Archie, with just his feet visible and in the background were Forget-Me-Nots - Diana’s favourite flowers.

Historian Kate Williams thinks Harry’s cousin Zara Tindall and A-list friends, tennis champion Serena Williams and actor George Clooney could be potential godparents as well.
She added: “I think we’ll see a blend of the celebrity and royalty in the choice of godparents.”
The date for Archie’s christening has not been confirmed or announced by the palace.
