On her eighth birthday, two photos of Princess Charlotte were released by her parents to celebrate her getting another year older.

The Princes and Princess of Wales shared the two portraits of their only daughter on their social media pages, one with Charlotte wearing a summer dress, and the other with the youngster wearing a jumper by Kate Middleton’s go-to high street brand, Boden.

Kate has sported several Boden items over the years, from blazers to blouses and dresses, as the brand is known for its quintessentially British style.

While this is one of the first Boden pieces that Charlotte has worn, she has already started to form a style of her own, and has a penchant for kids' brands such as Trotters, Rachel Riley and Amaia Kids.

Here’s how to shop Princess Charlotte’s wardrobe:

On her eighth birthday

In the first of the two images released by Kate and Prince William to mark their daughter’s eighth birthday, Charlotte is pictured wearing Trotters’ Frances Willow Sun Dress (from £70).

It features a round neckline with a statement collar, textured fabric and an all-over miniature floral print.

The second image sees Charlotte hugging the family dog Lupo in a garden of flowers. In the image, Charlotte is wearing Boden’s Relaxed Textured Jumper (on sale for £23), and a Kids' Woven Cotton Ruffle Shirt (from £16) from John Lewis underneath.

The Wales’ all donned blue for this year’s Easter Sunday service – the first that saw them attend as a family of five.

Charlotte opted for Rachel Riley’s Mini Floral Frill dress in navy (£65), which features frills in the bodice, puffed sleeves and a gathered skirt.

The princess paired the dress with Amaia Kid's Razorbil Coat in navy (£150), which is made from Austrian merino wool.

When Charlotte made a surprise appearance to watch the hockey with her parents at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, it gave us a glimpse at her more laid back attire.

Charlotte paired her plaited hair with Rachel Riley’s Navy Breton Striped Jersey Dress (£39), which is made of soft jersey fabric and has a Peter Pan collar.

Colour co-ordinating with her mum, both Charlotte and Kate rocked cornflower blue outfits to the 2022 Easter Sunday Service at Windsor Castle.

Charlotte again opted for a Rachel Riley dress, this time wearing the designer’s Forget-Me-Not Smocked dress in blue (£119), with a gathered skirt, smocked panel and a Peter Pan collar.

She wore the dress again a few weeks later during the Wales’ outing in Cardiff in June to celebrate the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
