Princess Beatrice to spend Christmas at Sandringham after last minute change
Princess Beatrice is set to spend Christmas with the Royal family at Sandringham after a change of plans due to medical advice, it has been reported. Originally, Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were looking forward to celebrating the festive season abroad with Edoardo's family.
However, following doctor's orders, the pregnant princess has been advised against long-haul flights. The new arrival will join big sister Sienna, age three, and Wolfie, Beatrice's eight year old stepson from Mr Mapelli Mozzi's previous relationship. A grand gathering of royals is expected at King Charles and Queen Camilla's Sandringham estate on Christmas Day, with the Prince of Wales recently sharing that 45 family members will be "all in one room".
Absent from the festivities will be Beatrice's father, the Duke of York, who continues to avoid the public eye due to his controversial ties to an alleged Chinese spy. Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie and her family are set to enjoy Christmas with her in-laws this year.

Beatrice and Edoardo announced they were expecting earlier this year, bringing joy to family and fans. Buckingham Palace confirmed the news in October alongside a sweet never before seen photograph of the family. It was also confirmed that the King had been informed and both families were delighted by the news.
Shortly after, Beatrice's mother, Sarah Ferguson publicly addressed the news. Taking to her Instagram page she shared a heartwarming family snap of her daughter and granddaughter Sienna, alongside the caption: "A very proud GiGi/Mum today. Such an incredible blessing and an embrace to my heart. Wolfie, August, Ernie and Sienna will be over the moon to have the fifth member of the five aside!" In addition, she also wrote: "Darling Beatrice. Words can't quite express the joy and excitement I feel as you and Edo prepare to welcome another precious addition to your beautiful family.
"Becoming a granny again fills my heart with so much happiness and gratitude. Watching you grow as a mother has been one of the greatest privileges of my life, and now to see your family blossom further is an absolute blessing.
"Our family is growing, and so too is the love that surrounds us. I cannot wait to meet this little one and to see in all the wonderful memories we will make together. All my love."
The new baby will be Fergie and ex-husband Prince Andrew's fourth grandchild, with step-grandson Wolfie making five. They will also be 11th in line to the throne.
