We're sure that Prince William is used to the spotlight being firmly on his wife's ensemble when they attend events together.
The Duchess of Cambridge never ceases to get it right when it comes to fashion, and effortlessly bags all the attention with her - often repurposed - wardrobe.
But on Sunday evening at the Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony, everyone was talking about the future king's incredible racing-green velvet jacket.
The suave buy is from Reiss. William first wore the £285 piece back in in 2019 at a charity gala and royal fans loved it then, too.
This time, the royal paired the jacket with a black roll neck, a classic look that oozes elegance and sophistication.
Following Prince William’s recent sartorial success, searches for men’s velvet blazers jumped 52% in less than a day, while searches for black polo neck jumpers increased 22%, according to fashion search platform Lyst.
Sadly, the Duke's blazer is sold out, but we weren't going to let the look go without at least having a scroll through the internet for acceptable lookalikes.
And luckily, we found eight velvet blazers that are reminiscent of the Duke's own and will certainly make just as much of a statement when paired with a polo neck - or even a white shirt - for an evening extravaganza.
From Marks & Spencer to Moss Bros, here are the velvet blazers that look as though they'd get the royal stamp of approval too.
