Prince Louis may be Prince William and Kate's youngest child, but if the 2022 Platinum Jubilee is anything to go by, he appears to be the most sprightly.
The younger brother of Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and the fourth in line to the throne, was born on April 23, 2018 in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, weighing 8lb 7oz.
He was christened as Louis Arthur Charles by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby at the Chapel Royal, St James' Palace, among friends and family in July 2018.
In 2022, before Louis began his first year of school, the Prince and Princess of Wales moved their children to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor and all three of their children started at Lambrook School.
The move came after Louis delighted royal watchers with his antics during the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022. During one of the events, Louis was seen poking out his tongue to his mum – an image which spawned many memes.
From trowelled-on make-up to Lauren Sanchez’s lacy white bra (because what could be more appropriate at the swearing in of a president than some deeply tanned cleavage? Then again, given this president…), this was inauguration style as we’ve never seen it.
The Episcopal bishop who delivered a Tuesday sermon that got under Donald Trump’s skin delivered yet another message to the president hours before Trump demanded she apologize. After the viral moment, Rev. Mariann Budde joined CNN’s Erin Burnett to explain her decision to target Trump directly during a National Prayer Service, and said that though he panned her performance, Trump’s reaction afterwards could’ve been worse. Speaking at the Washington National Cathedral Tuesday morning, Budde said:
President Donald Trump did not place his hand on the Bible as he took the oath of office during his inauguration on Monday. First lady Melania Trump stood next to the president holding two Bibles, but the 47th president of the United States didn't place his hand on either as he raised his right hand to take the presidential oath, which Chief Justice John Roberts issued. Melania Trump was holding her husband's personal Bible, which was given to him by his mother, and the Lincoln Bible that President Abraham Lincoln used to take the oath of office in 1861.
More than 100 years after the construction of the engineering marvel that linked the Atlantic and Pacific oceans — and 25 years after the canal was returned to Panama by the US — the Panama Canal faces renewed intimidation from US President Donald Trump.
