The down-low on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's rumoured honeymoon resort
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently enjoying life as newlyweds, with the dust barely settled from the worldwide spectacle that was their royal wedding.
Now, having completed their first royal engagement just last week, it would seem a honeymoon is next on the cards for the newlyweds.
The location for Harry and Meghan’s honeymoon has been kept tightly under wraps, but there have been rumours about where the couple might jet off to.
American gossip site TMZ claims the couple have chosen Canada for their romantic trip.
The source told the US news website that the couple will be staying at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta, Canada for their post-wedding getaway.

Not bad, huh?
As for their lodgings, it’s thought the couple will be occupying the 6,000 sq. foot Outlook Cabin, also named ‘The Royal Retreat’ no less,
The top tier lodgings comes with a enclosed conservatory and veranda, two fireplace, a large terrace with barbecue and a full kitchen with private catering entrance.
It also includes a massive six bedrooms (four with king-sized beds and two with double beds) and six full ensuite bathrooms.
Bit excessive for just two people, don’t you think?
If the rumours are true, Harry and Meghan won’t be the first royal visitors of the hotel.
In 1939, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother stayed there, while Harry’s grandmother has also given the lodge her royal seal of approval having stayed there in June 2005 with Prince Philip.

Interestingly, the Canadian spot is also where Marilyn Monroe and Robert Mitchum filmed the 1954 hit ‘River of No Return’.
It was also reported that both British and Canadian security will be in tow for when the couple arrive.
Canada would seem an apt choice for the couple as it’s the place where Meghan filmed ‘Suits’ for seven seasons.
The country is also where the couple made their first public appearance together, stepping out hand-in-hand at the Invictus Games in Toronto.
Harry and Meghan are also rumoured to be spending their honeymoon in Namibia, though others speculate they might return to Botswana, where they said they fell in love under the stars.
The pair might also head over to the Philippines, as it was listed as one of the former actress’s dream destinations on her now-deleted blog, The Tig.
