Prince Harry was spotted in high spirits on a lively walkabout, with the public chanting 'we love you' after he attended a solitary Invictus Games service. The Duke of Sussex was seen beaming and shaking hands with fans after the special thanksgiving service in London.

The event at St Paul's Cathedral marked the 10-year anniversary of the Invictus Games, an initiative by Harry to support injured and sick servicemen and women. As Harry mingled with the crowd outside the cathedral, cheers and shouts of "we love you Harry" echoed.

After interacting with his fans, Harry was escorted to his car to depart from the event. This warm reception followed the Royal Family's decision to skip the event at St Paul's Cathedral.

While Harry was at the Invictus Games event, King Charles was accompanied by a large group of royals showing unity at the Buckingham Palace garden party held just two miles away from St Paul's, reports the Mirror.

However, Harry wasn't alone at the service a his uncle Earl Charles Spencer and aunt Lady Jane Fellowes, both siblings of the late Princess Diana, were present. Also in attendance were Harry's cousin Louis Spencer, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's wife Akshata Murty, his lawyer David Sherbourne, and former Army officer Mark Dyer, who has been like a "second dad" to Harry.

The atmosphere at St Paul's Cathedral was thick with anticipation as Royal supporters were delighted to see Harry, dispelling concerns about any potential boos for the Duke. Meanwhile, Meghan Markle reportedly decided against accompanying her husband owing to apprehensions of a less than stellar reception.

After jetting into London on Tuesday, Prince Harry is expected to make a swift return to his American abode tomorrow. Optimistic hopes were high that he could reconnect with the King throughout his UK stopover, but sadly, it seems that won't be happening.

Addressing the constant queries and persistent rumours swirling about a possible meeting between the Royal father-son duo, a spokesperson for the Prince cleared the air: "In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the Duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty's full programme. The Duke of course is understanding of his father's diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon."
