Watch: Prince George joins Kate and Will for men's Wimbledon final

Prince George followed in the footsteps of his mother’s love of tennis on Sunday as he joined his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to watch the men’s singles final of Wimbledon 2022.

George, who will turn nine on 22 July, joined his parents on his first visit to the Royal Box on Centre Court to watch Australia's Nick Kyrgios take on the Wimbledon reigning champion Novak Djokovic.

The young royal looked dapper as he matched his mother in a navy blazer and tailored trousers.

A navy polka-dot dress by one of her go-to brands was Kate’s outfit of choice for the sporting occasion in SW19.

The vintage-style Alessandra Rich midi dress featured a peplum frill at the waist, ruched sleeves and button detailing down the centre.

A large collar lined the V-shaped neckline allowing space for Kate to accessorise with a drop necklace.

She paired the blue sapphire and diamond necklace with the matching earrings from the same jewellery set, which originally belonged to Princess Diana.

This is the third appearance at Wimbledon for the Duchess of Cambridge this week. The mother-of-three also attended the men's singles quarter-final tennis match between Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner with Prince William on Tuesday, wearing a different polka-dot design by the same designer, Alessandra Rich.

The duchess then fulfilled her duties at the women’s singles final on Saturday in a vibrant canary yellow dress as she presented the Venus Rosewater winner’s dish to Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina after she beat Tunisia's Ons Jabeur to the top spot.

It's the first time that Prince George has attended the tennis tournament in an official capacity, as the young royal has been attending more events with his parents since his role in his great-grandmother’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations earlier this year.
