Pregnant woman expecting at Christmas needs festive baby name - as everyone says same thing
Some families are going to have more than just presents under the tree this Christmas as they prepare to expand their brood. And one couple, who are expecting to become parents on Christmas Eve, has enlisted the help of the internet to lean into the festive spirit when it comes to their new arrival.
The soon-to-be-dad took to Reddit to ask for help choosing a name for their new arrival, and many users had the perfect festive suggestion for him. The original poster wrote: "My wife and I are expecting our first child (Due On Christmas Eve )! We feel like we've gone through every name in the book at this point (and still don't have a clear winner) - So, we thought we'd ask all of you wonderful people to give us some ideas!
"Our son's middle name will be James, and our last name is Campagna (yep - it's definitely Italian!). We don't need our son to have an Italian first name - Just something that flows with ______ James Campagna".

Receiving a whopping number of responses, there seemed to be a clear winner, as many suggested they called their son Noel. One user wrote: "I mean… if you want to lean into the Christmas thing, go with 'Noel'."
Another said: "I suggest Noel. I think that Noel goes great with every surname, so also with an Italian surname! It means Christmas in French."
Some users also suggested Nick as they referenced St. Nicholas, but the poster didn't seem too convinced. Providing an update, he admitted they weren't sure on the festive suggestions and shared: "Update - We're currently leaning towards Leo, Liam, Rhett, Elijah, or Ethan!"
The post was originally made last year, but the user has not updated it to reveal what he and his wife went for in the end. But if you are expecting a little one this Christmas, Reddit users had plenty of suggestions.
As well as Noel and Nick, names such as Gabriel, Nico, Noah, Milo and Theo were all in the mix from several commenters. Giving some in depth suggestions, one said: "What about Christopher? So you would get an alliterative name and surname and I think that Christopher Campagna sounds cool. Christopher means bringer of Christ so it would be nice if you are Christian or in general works well for a Christmas Eve child I guess. It has nice nicknames too, Kit and Chris."
