It may be Halloween but the most terrifying thing we’ve seen all day has to be pimple nail art.

Yes, the bizarre beauty trend has taken social media by storm thanks to manicure connoisseur, Natasha Lee.

The beauty vlogger took to YouTube to share a step-by-step guide on how to create Halloween-worthy nails ahead of tonight.

And let’s just say that it wasn’t exactly what we were expecting…

How can I recreate pimple nail art at home?

First things first, Lee advises cleansing your nails ahead of the Halloween-inspired manicure. It’s essential that you remove any excess polish before applying a base coat.

After applying a nude finish, large drops of nail strengthening polish should be added in order to create a striking pimple effect.

Faux blood is then produced by mixing red and yellow hued polishes on a makeup sponge. This is then dabbed on the nails around the ‘spots’.

And to create an exploding pus-effect, a blob of thick hand cream is added to the centre of the nail.
