Our pick of the best-dressed celebs at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards
The 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards was a night not to be missed. As one of the biggest events in the entertainment calendar, the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles was filled with all the industry's seasoned and upcoming talent.
While the most spotlighted winner was Demi Moore, who took home her first statuette in a 45-year acting career for her lauded performance in The Substance, other notable winners included Zoe Saldana in Emilia Pérez, Kathryn Hahn in Agatha All Along, Ali Wong in Single Lady and Fernanda Torres in I'm Still Here.
The red carpet also was an entire occasion in itself, with stars turning out in megawatt designs – here are some of our favourite looks.
The best-dressed at the Golden Globe Awards 2025
Zoe Saldana
The actress scooped up her first Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in Emilia Pérez wearing a shimmering sequin Saint Laurent gown featuring a plunging sweetheart neckline and silver jewellery. She completed the look with a dramatic off-the-shoulder, billowing cape in the season's trendiest shade and Pantone's Colour of the Year, Mocha Mousse – a rich, warm, velvety brown.
Mikey Madison
There was no shortage of sequins as one of the year's most talked-about names, Mikey Madison – who plays a stripper marrying a Russian oligarch's son in Anora – hit the red carpet in a strapless, streamlined, floor-skimming gold Bottega Veneta gown and Tiffany & Co. jewellery.
Kerry Washington
Pretty in hot pink! The Scandal actress and presenter opted for a one-shoulder, neon-pink, silk taffeta number from Balenciaga's Spring 2025 collection. She finished off the look with some unexpected accessories: black spandex opera gloves, sheer black tights and black patent pointed calfskin heels.
Miley Cyrus
Ever the showstopper, Miley flaunted a backless silver-and-black Celine gown with strategic cut-outs and an updo that showcased her athletic figure. For a few choice shots, she donned a pair of sunglasses to add some rock 'n' roll glamour.
Emma Stone
While her new Mia-Farrow-esque pixie cut stole the show, Emma's custom Louis Vuitton red-hot strapless gown made sure all eyes were on her. Intricate details like a glossy belt, asymmetrical bow and tapered skirt added a directional couture touch.
Jessica Gunning
Awarded Best TV Supporting Actress for her performance in Reindeer, Jessica Gunning looked incredible in a dark turquoise velvet gown with off-the shoulder, asymmetrical ruffled detailing and a gentle train.
Liza Colón-Zayas
Applauded for her performance in The Bear, the Best TV Supporting Actress nominee wowed in a custom Christian Siriano black number, featuring taffeta, tulle, feathers and beading. Opting for a fishtail silhouette, the gown's figure-hugging bodice flatteringly cascaded into a fuller skirt.
Glenn Close
She may have been censored for her presenter speech, but Glenn's Balmain dramatic, handwriting-embellished number did all the talking. The edgy 'Love Letter' Embroidery Dress was designed by the fashion house's creative director Olivier Rousteing for the 2025 Resort Collection. Its sharp structured shoulders are quintessential Balmain, while the built-in gloves add a bold touch.
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor
Starring in best-film nominee Nickel Boys, the actress looked quirky and cool in a tuxedo-inspired design that sported bell half sleeves, a diagonally cut hem, and floral appliqué accents on the lapel.
Allison Janney
The over-50s continued to pull out all the style stops, with Janney, nominated for her role in The Diplomat, bringing understated sophistication in a navy blue gown and a dazzling diamond choker.
Zendaya
Never missing a style note, the actress stunned in a burnt orange custom Louis Vuitton that paid homage to classical Hollywood with its fitted, boned bodice and voluminous skirt. She accessorised with matching pointed heels. a diamond Bulgari necklacke, and glamorous curls.
Kate Winslet
Also opting for a white-suit ensemble, Kate Winslet's custom Erdem suit jacket and matching trousers in cream silk wool featured intricate rose motifs on the shoulder, hem and sleeve, perhaps as a nod to her role in Titanic. She went without a shirt to give the look a more daring, yet polished, feel for the evening.
