Peter Andre's gives two-word response to fan who takes credit for naming his baby girl
Peter Andre has given a short but sweet response to a fan who claimed they were the one who came up with the moniker for his newborn daughter, Arabella.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 51, who recently introduced fans to baby Arabella on Instagram, left the naming duties to wife Emily. Peter, a doting dad-of-five, often sought help from his followers while struggling with the challenge of finding the right name for their new arrival.
After weeks of uncertainty, the couple finally managed to agree on a name. On Thursday, 2 May, both Pete and Emily unveiled her lovely name, along with professionally captured photos of Arabella, peacefully fast asleep in a blanket bundle.
Under her picture, Emily posted: "It's taken a while but after lots of deliberation we've finally decided. Arabella Rose Andrea".
Meanwhile, Peter shared the same images, adding: "I think you've chosen a beautiful name @dr_emily_official. Arabella Rose Andrea. I LOVE it and I love her.. and you of course."
But when a fan commented on Peter's Instagram post claiming credit for suggesting the name - the fan wrote: "A name I suggested to you both. Such a beautiful name. Little Bella", Peter gracefully agreed and replied, "it's perfect", followed by a heart emoji, reports the Mirror.
Emily and Peter confessed they found it challenging to choose a name for their little one. Unable to agree, Emily was given the task of making the final decision. "We've been trying out names that our friends and family have suggested, but then Emily and I don't seem to agree on them. So I think it's only fair that Emily decides I hope she picks a good one", Peter revealed to OK!
A later update from dad-of-five Peter saw him reveal: "We are still no closer to a name for our newest bundle of joy. Any time Emily and I talk about it, it just gets put aside. Since Emily and I agreed for her to be the one to choose, it seems to have slowed down the process even more."
He continued: "She is recovering after all, so I totally get it. We have less than four weeks left before we have to register her. I took our baby for a walk in her pram for the first time to drop Millie and Theo at school. It's beautiful to do these things all over again."
Peter and Emily are already parents to seven-year-old son Theo, and daughter Amelia, 10, while Peter is also father to 18-year-old son Junior and daughter Princess, 16, with his ex-wife, Katie Price.
