Peter Andre reveals 'number one' baby name choice - but Emily's 'not keen'
Peter Andre and wife Emily are yet to name their newborn daughter, whom they welcomed earlier this month. The Mysterious Girl singer, 51, shared that they nicknamed the baby "Bubba" but are yet to decide on a name.
The couple previously asked fans for help and now Peter has revealed some of the names they have been considering. Sharing a video compilation to Instagram, he wrote: "The love I have for our baby is one thing. The love I have for Emily is another love altogether.
"What an incredible mum she is and what a truly beautiful gift she has given us. We all love bubba so much. And she STILL has no name @dr_emily_official #noname"
Fans were quick to comment with some name suggestions, with one writing: "Olivia is the best name lol @dr_emily_official @peterandre xx" Replying to this, Peter said: "Olivia was my number one choice but ems not sure."
Another suggested Charlotte, with Peter replying: "Charlotte is also in the running. I like Charlie, but ems not so keen. I really want her to decide."
While a third name suggested was Athena, as Peter said: "Athena is also in the running. Not sure how ems feels about it but I LOVE it."
Peter previously expressed his frustration that he and Emily had been unable to decide on a name. On a recent Instagram post fans asked Peter if he and Emily had decided on a name for their little one, to which he revealed that they haven't yet - replying to one: "STILL no name. It's driving us nuts."
Someone else asked: "Any name picked up for your sweet little Baby yet??@peterandre." The dad-of-five replied: "Still no name. Literally struggling. She doesn’t look like any one the names we have thought of."
And in his exclusive column for OK! about life with his newborn daughter, Peter revealed that he and Emily have less than four weeks left to register their baby's moniker.
He teased that Emily is slowing down the process, telling us: "We are still no closer to a name for our newest bundle of joy. Any time Emily and I talk about it, it just gets put aside. Since Emily and I agreed for her to be the one to choose, it seems to have slowed down the process even more."
Peter added: "She is recovering after all, so I totally get it. We have less than four weeks left before we have to register her."
