Peter Andre issues impassioned 3-word warning to I'm A Celeb stars as they jet off to jungle
Rewind 20 years ago and Peter Andre first stepped foot in the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle. Now, as the show is set to air this month with all-star line-up, the 51 year old singer has issued some very important advice for new contestants - and it's all to do with food and hunger.
Peter - who is dad to Junior, Princess, Amelia, Theo and Arabella - said: "It’s that time of year again when I’m A Celeb is getting ready to hit our screens. If I was to give contestants any advice it would be about food. So many people would say, 'Oh, eat loads because you’ll be so hungry when you get in there'."
The star - who later appeared on the hit ITV show again back in 2011 - then told OK! what he would perhaps do differently, looking back. He explained: "But I’d say the exact opposite. If you’re not used to lack of food, your body will go into shock whereas if you limit yourself slowly, it’ll be easier. I wish I had done that – the constant hunger was definitely worse than the Bushtucker Trials and there are definitely no secret meals that are given out if you’re hungry."

As someone that knows all too well about how it goes down in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, when Peter first heard that wife of footballer Wayne Rooney, Coleen, could be entering the jungle, he spilled the beans on what her reasoning for going in could be.
In a 10-word statement, he told OK! in his exclusive column: "I think the producers might be hoping for some gossip. What’s exciting about the show is that every year there is always someone that is going to make headlines. I think it’s great if Coleen is going in.
Fresh from a second win in court against arch nemesis Rebekah Vardy - Coleen is thought to have signed up for this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here - rumoured to have secured the biggest deal in the show’s history, with a whopping fee of over £1.5m. Coleen, who won the high-profile ‘Wagatha Christie’ libel case in 2022, filed against her by Rebekah Vard, follows in the footsteps of Rebekah, who entered the I’m A Celeb jungle in 2017 - and was the third campmate to be eliminated. It’s an interesting move as, according to a source, ITV bosses have been ‘desperate’ to bag Coleen for the show, which is filmed Down Under, for a long time - and she’s always turned it down.
