Pete Wicks spotted going full Freddie Mercury ahead of Strictly Come Dancing show
Pete Wicks has been spotted going full Freddie Mercury as he prepares to take to the Strictly Come Dancing stage for Icons week. Celebrities and their dance professionals on the popular show will this week perform routines to some classic hits by music legends.
And the television personality, best known for The Only Way Is Essex, will be performing a salsa with dance partner Jowita to the Queen classic 'Another One Bites The Dust'. Ahead of his performance in Saturday night's show, which begins at 6.30pm on BBC One, he has been pictured in full Freddie regalia.
Photographs show the 36-year-old sporting a moustache, and wearing a white vest and white trousers, similar to how the Queen frontman looked during his iconic Live Aid performance in in 1985. For the latest TV & Showbiz news, sign up to our newsletter
Speaking ahead of the show, Pete said: "Who doesn't know Freddie Mercury? And when you think Freddie Mercury as well, you think of Live Aid, and which is probably the most iconic performance anyone in the world is known for. I don't think you can get any more iconic than that, but also Queen were just amazing."
In Sunday night's results show, professional dancers will perform a dazzling Beyoncé medley, with Johannes Radebe channelling his inner Sasha Fierce as the protagonist in the routine.
