The annual Vanity Fair Oscar Party featured even more jaw-dropping looks than the awards ceremony itself.
The 2025 Oscars brought some of the biggest names in Hollywood to the red carpet. However, the Oscars party circuit was even more star-studded than the main event. Following the lengthy broadcast hosted by Conan O'Brien, celebrities like Demi Moore, Selena Gomez and Catherine O'Hara hit the infamous Vanity Fair Oscars Party hosted by the magazine's editor-in-chief, Radhika Jones.
In general, after-party fashion tends to be bolder, edgier and dare we say it — more interesting — than the Oscars red carpet. Keep reading to see some of the best and worst looks from the VF Oscar Party.

The "Not My Fault" rapper certainly caught our attention with this moss silk chiffon ensemble that featured feathers at the bodice and literally nothing else on top.
BEST: Selena Gomez
Gomez is hitting her stride when it comes to her red carpet looks. The Emilia Pérez actress traded in her blush Ralph Lauren gown for a sexy sequinned black column gown by Armani Privé.
WORST: Olivia Wilde
We love Wilde's bohemian sense of style, but this sheer cream ensemble didn't quite translate from the Chloé runway to the red carpet.

BEST: Catherine O'Hara
O'Hara's colourful knit Gabriella Hearst gown captured the actress's playfulness while maintaining a sartorial edge.
WORST: Zoe Kravitz
Kravitz's peek-a-butt Saint Laurent moment definitely caught our attention when choosing the worst dressed from the VF red carpet.
BEST: Anna Sawai
Anna Sawai has quickly become one of our red carpet favourites. The Shōgun star wowed in a black strapless sequinned Vivienne Westwood gown and statement-making diamond jewelry.
WORST: Zoe Saldaña
We were hoping Saldaña's after-party ensemble would be an improvement from her billowing gown on the Oscar red carpet. Unfortunately, it seems we're too optimistic when it comes to Saint Laurent's vision for the Emilia Pérez star.
BEST: Joey King
King's cream coloured Miu Miu gown with crystal floral embellishments is easily one of the best Oscars looks of 2025.
WORST: Sarah Paulson
Paulson has always been a fan of avant-garde fashion — and we love her for it — but this sleeping bag style Marc Jacobs bag is too bizarre for us.

Erivo's dreamy Vivienne Westwood tulle look was a welcomed surprise from the Wicked star, who went for a bold velvet Louis Vuitton gown on the Oscars red carpet.

We're big fans of the colour palette of Culkin's Valentino suit that perfectly complemented his wife Brenda Song's cream silk taffeta gown by Marmar Halim.

Ratajkowski's Ludovic de Saint Sernin look seemed better suited for the boudoir than the red carpet.
BEST: Kaia Gerber
We love when stars dip into the fashion archives for their looks. Case in point: Gerber's buttermilk chiffon gown and matching cape from Valentino's 1997 Spring/Summer collection.
WORST: Anna Kendrick
Kendrick's Ashi Studio look with elaborate embellishments overwhelmed her petite frame. We would have preferred a longer look on the Another Simple Favour star.
