The Oscars 2019 was just as star-studded as expected. Celebrities including ‘The Favourite’ lead Olivia Colman, ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Emilia Clarke and even tennis superstar Serena Williams took to the red carpet, wearing an array of wow-factor ensembles.

For the most part, the A-list pack stuck to simple cuts and block colours – barely a print was seen at the awards.

Even ‘A Star Is Born’ star Lady Gaga toned down her look and arrived wearing a black strapless, drop-waist McQueen number paired with her leather gloves. A 128-carat necklace (last worn by Audrey Hepburn) from Tiffany & Co completed the outfit.

Helen Mirren, 73, was one of the best dressed at the Oscars 2019 in a coral Schiaparelli number. Jennifer Lopez, meanwhile, brought the glamour in a metallic, form-fitting Tom Ford look. Charlize Theron rocked custom Dior – and a new brunette hairdo that left her almost unrecognisable.

The men were equally fashion-forward. Bradley Cooper and Rami Malek suited up in tuxedos while ‘Captain America’ star Chris Evans wore a velvet, blue suit jacket.
