Getting your brain back on track after the holidays can be tricky, but this hidden woman optical illusion just might do the trick.

Optical illusions test your eyes as well as your brain, and can be challenging to figure out. Having an eye for detail and expert observation skills can help you see through these illustrated tricks.

While a keen eye can solve some illusions, others can require thinking outside the box. There are optical illusions that can only be solved by the most intelligent or observational individuals.

PinkVilla shared one such image on social media - and it is one that can only be worked out quickly by those with the highest IQs or the best eyesight, reported the Daily Star.

Part of a painting by Lee Wagstaff, the illusion requires you to find a woman's face hidden amongst the black and white wavy lines.

While you may get dizzy staring at the distracting lines, letting your eyes lose focus can help reveal the illusion.

Finding the lady's face within 10 seconds indicates that you have a sharp mind. But if this one was too tricky, there are plenty others to try.

One test challenges viewers to find the hidden potato in an image full of cartoon hamsters. It was designed to work our observational skills as well as intelligence, and the task is to find it within seven seconds.

Another animal-themed illusion that puzzled our readers was one in which a panda bear was hidden amongst pills and other medication.

The placement and colours of the picture's different parts makes this one particularly hard to crack. But if you can spot the bear within 12 seconds, your observational skills are excellent.
