Proud dad Olly Murs has shared new pictures with his daughter Madison and partner Amelia Tank as the trio went on their first holiday as a family together. The singer posted four photos on Instagram with the caption: “I’m in my dad era and tell ya what… couldn’t be happier. Happy first holiday with our little Mads x”

The first photo shows Olly holding Madison while being hugged by Amelia, while the second has him posing against a wall with Madison snuggled up in a stripy baby carrier strapped to Olly’s front.

A video has him humming The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine to his little girl – who has a little grumble while he sings – while another photo shows Olly and Amelia, plus Madison in a beige baby pushchair, by a sign that reveals their holiday location: Polzeath, near Padstow in Cornwall.

Many wished the family well, with one saying: “The cutest little family. Hope you all had a lovely break,” as a second commented: “Awww the Dad life suits ya,” and a third added: “The best job you’ve ever had and doesn’t look bad on you either xx enjoy every minute! X”

Olly and Amelia announced the arrival of their daughter on Wednesday 17 April on Instagram, with a sweet snap of them exiting the hospital with their daughter in a car seat. In the caption, Olly announced that they had named their baby Madison, writing: “Our mini murs has arrived. Madison we love you so much already.”

Following Madison’s arrival, Olly revealed the heartbreak he was suffering as he had to leave Amelia and his daughter to support Take That on their tour.

Just hours after the announcement of Madison’s arrival, Olly confirmed he would be performing with the pop band at their Leeds show that night, which he was finding “horrible” as he had to leave his new baby behind.

In an Instagram post, he thanked everyone for their messages of congratulations, writing: “I just wanted to jump on here and say thank you so much for the lovely messages. It’s been an incredible few days and little Madison is here and we’re just over the moon and full of love.”

“I just wanted to jump on here to let everyone know that is coming to the Leeds show tonight for the Take That show - I am here! Yes I am here, and it was so horrible to say goodbye to Madison this morning and Amelia - but the show must go on.”
