Olly Murs shares adorable first full snap of baby daughter Madison as she sleeps soundly

Olly Murs has shared a new picture of his daughter Madison - affectionately nicknamed by the proud dad and partner Amelia Tank as Madi - as she slept peacefully in her cot.

The tiny tot looked cute as a button as she lay tucked up in her cream knitted blanket.

On Wednesday, 17 April, Olly and Amelia shared the news of their little one's arrival into the world on Instagram, with a sweet snap of them exiting the hospital with their daughter in a car seat. In the caption, Olly announced that they had named their first child Madison, writing: "Our mini murs has arrived. Madison we love you so much already x."

Her little newborn feet were showed off affectionately to fans on Sunday, 2 April evening as Olly hilariously announced that she shares the same feet as him. He said: "Bless Madi, I think she's got her Dad's feet" followed by a foot emoji, laughing face emoji and pink heart emoji.

Fans were delighted to see more of four-day old Madi. One said: "Naaah I can't cope. Enjoy every second, they don't stay small for long. Can already see you taken her out to the park. This is too much for a Sunday evening haha."

Another added: "So adorable" and another reminisced and said: "Awwwwww so adorable, remember my little girl being that small."

Even celebrity friend Jamie Redknapp couldn't handle how sweet the snap was and commented a simple red heart emoji.

Olly also showed Madi off very slightly in the early hours of Sunday morning on Instagram as he admitted that "Sunday morning cuddles hit different now...." alongside a crying emoji and the sweetest sap of Madi looking cute in her tiny baby sleep suit, complete with phrase 'I love my daddy lots & lots.'

Fresh from the news that he had officially become a first time dad, Olly revealed his heartache amidst the baby bliss as he had to leave the precious little one behind to head to work.

Just hours after the announcement, Olly revealed that it was still business as usual for his life as a pop star, as he confirmed he would still be supporting Take That at their Leeds show later that evening - something that had proved “horrible” as he had to leave behind his new little girl.

Taking to Instagram to share the announcement with fans, Olly first began by thanking everyone for their messages of congratulations, as he said: “I just wanted to jump on here and say thank you so much for the lovely messages. It’s been an incredible few days and little Madison is here and we’re just over the moon and full of love.”
