Olivia Colman sports new-look platinum blonde pixie crop at Oscars
Olivia Colman showed off a whole new hairstyle at last night’s Oscars.
The star, who last year took home the Academy Award for Best Actress, showcased an ashy platinum blonde pixie crop at the ceremony. She wore the style tousled and pushed back from her face.
This is a far cry from the trademark raven brown shade she has sported for most of her career – and as recently as earlier this month, when she attended the BAFTAs on Sunday 2 February.

The 46-year-old’s cropped style was the work of celebrity hairstylist Marcus Francis.
As for her sartorial choices, Colman wore a floor-length, caped Stella McCartney gown in white and navy velvet, while she accessorised with a navy clutch which had a diamond clasp, and a matching emerald and diamond cocktail ring and drop earrings set by Atelier Swarovski.
Commenting on her new hair as she walked up on stage to present the Best Actor award, Colman joked, “Winning an Oscar ages you.”

Fans on Instagram have been quick to praise the look.
“Love the hair Olivia you look amazing,” wrote one person, while another added, “love the blonde look”.
“The new hair colour, you look beautiful,” was a further comment.
Colman wasn’t the only star rocking a new hairstyle last night.

Although known for her blonde style which she has sported through her career, Jane Fonda, 82, embraced grey hair last night with a new cropped style, streaked with lighter grey highlights, for the star-studded event.
The stand-out look was created by Italian colourist Jack Martin – who is known for his grey hair transformations – and hairdresser Jonathan Hanousek.
