Older adults have been very vocal about the hard realities of aging, but there are also things people often get wrong about getting older that are rarely spoken about.

So, older adults, we want to hear from you: What are the common myths and misconceptions about aging that more people should know?

Like, people might think that getting older automatically means that you should have your life all figured out, but in reality, no matter how old you get, you never feel like you have it all together.

Or perhaps people usually assume that by a certain age, you can't have a social or active lifestyle, but that's not the case at all for you — and you can share insights on how you've taken care of yourself and your well-being as you've gotten older.

Or maybe people often say that you can't learn something new or start over when you're older, but you've made significant changes in your life later in life, like moving to a new country or completely switching careers.
