Nina Dobrev Sure Does Clean Up Well, Going From Tough Mudder to Runway Ready

Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev is a girl of many talents. One day she’s crawling through the muck and clawing her way over obstacles, and the next she’s turning heads at New York Fashion Week in a red lace Marchesa dress to die for.

Dobrev posted photos from the Toronto Tough Mudder, which took place over the weekend at the Mount St. Louis Moonstone ski resort. She and her friends, who dubbed their team the Mudholes, were reveling in the “Muddy good time.”

And just to be clear, Tough Mudders are, well, tough. “Arctic Enema, Electric Shock Therapy, and 10 miles of mud.. We survived….Barely,” Dobrev’s friend Lane Cheek captured a snap the 27-year-old actress reposted. Dobrev gave further insight into the treacherous course when she wrote, “Sticks and Stones may break my bones but the Electric shock will never get me.”

But Dobrev’s no stranger to taxing physical endeavors. She had a pretty extreme holiday back in January. This also wasn’t her first Tough Mudder. Heck, it wasn’t even her first this year. So by the end of this weekend’s run, she and her crew seemed pretty cocky about it all, posing next to a sign that read, “The only bad thing about getting in shape is that our body looks better than your face.” Dobrev captioned the shot: “I guess that’s a consequence we’ll have to live with ladies… [insert strong-arm and mischief-face emojis].”

And by Wednesday, she was back stateside in New York for the Marchesa spring/summer 2017 runway show, looking like the girl on fire in her ravishing red frock.

At one point, she even noted how much she looked like the dancing-girl emoji.

She and a couple of gal pals also literally stopped traffic as they posed and twirled in the middle of a cobblestone street.

But despite all the glam, Dobrev is just a goofball at heart. You’re right, ladies. You “#Nailed it.”
