If, like us, you were wondering how the 'Big Little Lies' actor manages to stay in such incredible shape, the secret seems to lie in her maintaining a healthy diet and regular exercise.
While Kidman isn't a slave to the gym, she does like exercising in a number of different ways, depending on which type of fitness slots into her busy schedule.

"I run, ride my bike, do yoga, whatever I can do and wherever I am in the world," she told the Los Angeles Times back in 2014.
"We try to exercise as a family, which makes it much easier to squeeze in among everything else and, of course, much more enjoyable," she added.
She also believes that switching up her exercise routine keeps things interesting. "Variety is the best way I’ve found. If you think you are going to wake up and run five miles every morning for the rest of your life, you’ll get bored and hit the snooze button after a week," she explained.
"So I try and mix it up with sports, running, yoga, and even just going for a walk with my husband and the kids. Living in Nashville makes this easier, as it’s so nice just being outside, especially this time of year," Nicole explained. "I also love spinning. I try to get everyone to spin."

When it comes to her diet, Kidman likes to keep that varied too. "I’m actually not that strict with my diet. I pretty much eat anything, but all in moderation. Likewise with fitness, I try not to be too strict with it and mix it up to make sure it stays fun."
She also subscribes to a credit/debit way of eating, previously admitting to following the 80-20 approach, which means eating healthy food 80% of the time and the remaining time allowing yourself to eat what you like.
"I’m just not someone that believes in denial. It’s walking a path that’s ultimately 80 percent healthy, 20 percent…sometimes it falls to 70," she told Women's Health.

Kidman hopes her balanced way of living will be something she can pass onto her family.
"Get out with your family, have some fun, don’t take it too seriously and make health, fitness, and nutrition an important part of your life. Ultimately your health, both physical and emotional, is the basis for everything," she revealed to the Los Angeles Times.
