What is Black Friday?
Black Friday was originally a US shopping holiday, beginning as the big post-Thanksgiving sales event. It’s been around since the '30s across the pond, but it started gaining traction in the UK in 2010. Now, thanks to its timing before rather than after the Christmas gifting period, it has taken over from the January sales as the biggest discount event annually.
When is the Net-a-Porter Black Friday 2024 sale?
Black Friday always falls on the fourth Friday of November, which this year was Friday 24 November. Many retailers now begin their Black Friday sales around a week or so early, including Net-a-Porter, so get in there sharpish to avoid that dreaded "sold out" button appearing.
