Natural Lights' 'The Neighborator' Is the Best Way to Make Friends With Your Neighbor

As the saying goes, "good fences make good neighbors," but sometimes, your neighbors are just so damn cool that you want easier access to hanging out with your buddy next door. Thankfully, Natural Light is here to make that happen.

On Tuesday, Natty Light gave Food & Wine the exclusive first look at "The Neighborator," its brand-new double-sided beer fridge designed to be installed in the fence line that separates you from your favorite neighbor. According to the team, it was inspired to create this rather friendly invention after learning that more than 60% of Americans wish they had a closer relationship with the folks right next door.

"Natural Light has always been the community beer that brings people together, so when we discovered that the majority of neighbors wish they were better friends with the folks who live next door, we dreamed up a natural way to forge a connection," Krystyn Stowe, the head of marketing for Busch Family & Natural Family at Anheuser-Busch, shared in a statement. "Whether you want to thank Sue for grabbing your mail while you were away, make peace with Joe over the overgrown hedges, or finally introduce yourself to the mysterious neighbor who fetches the newspaper in their PJs, the Neighborator will help turn that fence line from 'yours' and 'mine' to 'ours' over an ice cold Natty."

The Neighborator features all-weather protection and a dual-sided lock and key mechanism so both sides can access the fridge and the goods can stay secure. "So whether your neighbor is your go-to buddy or the one you duck behind the bushes to avoid, Natty's invention will help strengthen your bond through a shared love of beer," it added. Or, you know, if this is a "Home Improvement" situation and you've never actually seen your neighbor Wilson's entire face, at least now, you can easily share a beer.

However, there is a catch. You can't buy the Neighborator. You'll have to win it, as it's one-of-a-kind. You can enter to win it from now through December 20 by following Natural Light on Facebook, Instagram, or X and commenting on the contest post telling the brand why you and your neighbor deserve The Neighborator.

The prize also includes a year of beer (provided via a $550 prepaid card, which may be used to purchase two 24-packs of Natural Light a month for twelve months). And, of course, you need to be 21 to enter. And if you do win, just make sure to take your time to pick which neighboring fence deserves to share this magical experience with you most.
