Rita Ora wows in 'naked' latex gown for club performance: 'This dress is to die for'
See-through dresses are nothing new but in recent years they've been getting progressively less opaque
Rita Ora has slipped on what might be her most daring endorsement yet of the 2023 celebrity-favourite naked dress trend – of which Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Chastain are also fans.
The singer, 32, wowed in a red sheer, latex gown to perform on stage at the iconic Heaven nightclub in London.
She paired her one-shouldered Avellano ensemble with star-shaped nipple pasties and a nude thong, along with hooped earrings and wavy hair.
After posting an image of her outfit – which she also accessorised with a pair of sky-high heels – to Instagram, her fans rushed to praise the head-turning look.
These included Davina McCall who declared "this dress is to die for", while other social media users commented "gorgeous" and "so hot".
However, it's not the first time Ora has opted for a see-through dress of late – she chose one for the Netflix Golden Globe and Critics Choice Nominee Toast at the start of the month.

The star only wore black underwear beneath her purple lace number from Rodarte, retailing for £2,294, opting to leave the included slip at home.
She also stepped out in a sheer dress by Nensi Dojaka on The Fashion Awards red carpet in December.
Ora isn’t the only one taking the naked dress trend for a spin in recent weeks, with Jennifer Lopez recently wearing a tan-coloured, see-through Valentino dress adorned with matching gold crystals to the Shotgun Wedding premiere.
The 53-year-old singer and actor's fans on Instagram adored the look, which featured a beige strapless slip beneath and a vibrant yellow bow at the waist.
One social media user wrote "nobody does it better!" while another shared "love this dress" and a third commented "STUNNING".

The trend has also been seen on several other red carpets this year, with celebrities at the Golden Globes and Critics' Choice Awards donning nude or see-through gowns.
Jessica Chastain wore a nude Oscar de la Renta gown to the Golden Globes, while The Menu’s Anya Taylor-Joy wore a nude and sheer Christian Dior gown to the Critics' Choice Awards.
Lily James also rocked up to the Critics' Choice Awards in a see-through Oscar de la Renta gown, her second fashion win of the year after style watchers named her the “best dressed” celebrity at the Golden Globes.
The naked dress can come in several variations. It can either be a gown that closely matches your skin tone, a see through dress with fabric carefully positioned to protect the wearer’s modesty, or it can be a dress made of completely sheer fabric.

The trend appeared to pick up pace after the 2022 Met Gala, to which Kim Kardashian wore Marilyn Monroe’s famed naked dress that the actor wore in 1962 to serenade then-US president, John F Kennedy.
“In a sense, it’s the original naked dress,” Kardashian told Vogue after the Met Gala. “That’s why it was so shocking.”
Emily Ratajkowski and Lily James were two other celebrities that brought the naked dress to the Met Gala, both donning Versace for the occasion.
Perhaps the most talked-about naked dress moment of 2022 however was Florence Pugh, who wore a breast-baring Valentino dress to the fashion house’ couture show in Paris last year that saw both praise and backlash from her social media followers.
“If I’m happy in it, then I’m gonna wear it. Of course, I don’t want to offend people, but I think my point is: How can my nipples offend you that much?” Pugh later told Vogue.
With stars already donning the trend in 2023, it seems the naked dress isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
